Scarlet Magazine is an omnibus magazine of news, features, poetry and photography conceived, written and designed by and for students at Rutgers University-Newark Cortney Coulanges, a journalism student at RU-N founded SM in 2011. The magazine is a collaboration between the student from the journalism and graphic design programs at RU-N. Scarlet Magazine is published four times a year.
The inspiration for the spreads was the poetry and stories that go within the magazine that allows me to be creative with my spread design for Scarlet Magazine.
